New job update
So, I started my new job this week as a school nurse for Rialto. So far it's been going good. I have worked at their clinic for 2 days and I have spent 1 day at an elementary school. I have learned so much already about immunizations and when they are given and how they are given. They teach you this in nursing school for about a day and you never remember it again until you actually have to use it. We'll see how it goes once I have to start doing the teaching projects. I'll keep you updated.

Scrapbook Weekend
My mom and I went away to Crop-Inn in Palm Desert. We had a great time. We got massages, shopped and scrapped. I was able to do 10 pages...which is pretty good for me. I worked on these two layouts that I had bought at this great store down there. The layouts were so nice. We shared the inn with 7 other women from Valencia. They were great company. I would definitely have to do this again.

House Update
So, the house is progressing very quickly. The color is finally on the outside of the house, so it looks like a real house. All of the cabinets are in and poles are up in the closets and the mantle is in around the fireplace. It is moving extremely fast now. I will have to post the pictures of the house once I download them.

Yesterday, a day of parties...
Yesterday I had a baby shower for a girl at work and then later on that night we had a surprise party for one of Brayton's friend. The shower was held at a nurse's house from work in Fontana. It was a lot of fun. We had food, games, presents, and karaoke. Then later on Brayton met up with me and we went to Rock the Keys, a bar in Rancho Cucamonga. It was a bar that had battling pianos. It was a fun place. Lots of excitment and amusment. Yesterday was a lot of fun.

Losses of Bunco
So, I played Bunco on Friday night and then again on Monday night with two different groups. Both were a lot of fun. Both I actually got prizes from, amazingly. I won at both groups for having the most losses for the night; believe it or not. A girls night out with dice!!!!

The Shaking Earth
So, two days ago there was another earthquake in California. It was a 4.5 centered in San Bernardino. It was horrible. We felt it shake pretty good. I love everything about California except for those lovely earthqukes. There is nothing like them in the world; having the earth shake right under your feet. There has been a lot of earthquakes happening around here lately. I think they need to stop.

New Adventure
I accepted a job today in the Rialto School District. I am very excited. This is the reason I went and got my bachelor's degree. Great vacations...that's what I am looking forward to.
However, it is always hard to leave your current job. It's hard to first tell your boss and second to tell your co-workers you will no longer be working there. But, this is part of life, moving up an on. This is a great oppurtunity for me.
I'll be able to fill you in as the time comes closer to switching over to my new job.

House Update
Brayton and I went to see our house today and check out the progress. It is moving along so fast. Right now all of the dry wall is up throughout the whole house. It is really starting to pull together. It is really making me think about how to decorate now. So, we took a walk through the model home again and I gained some good ideas. I can't wait until it is done and finally ours. The best part is going to be the decorating part. I have not downloaded the pictures yet, I will post them here once I do.

The New Year-2009
It is hard to believe that it is 2009. Where have the years gone? New Years Eve was pretty quiet for me. I was feeling a bit under the weather. We spent the night with friends Mary, Mario, Michelle, Dave, and their children along with our family. Brayton was able to make it home just in time from work to see the ball drop at midnight.
There is much to look forward to in 2009 for Brayton and I. The biggest excitment is our house will be finished being built around March time. Our first home, a big accomplishment for us both. We look forward to the many exciting years to come in our home. The picture above is our house so far in the building process.
