Yesterday...

So, yesterday Robert had his first basketball game for school. They won. Then we went back to my moms house and had homemade macaroni and cheese. We then sat and used the Cricut to make some cute Easter decorations. We made bunnies, easter eggs, and a sign that said Happy Easter. They came very cute. My mom needs to get them laminated first and then I will post pictures of how cute they came.

Scrapbooking

Last night I went to our monthly make a page night at Chris's house, a Stampin Up rep with a few other nurses. We made a Valentine's themed layout. Here are some of the pictures of how mine turned out. I love their paper.

Today I am going to go over to my mom's house and try out my new 12X24 Cricut mats and paper and make some Easter decorations. We'll see how those come. The paper is huge.

Work Ditch Day

Today, I took a ditch day from work and headed up the mountains to the snow with Brayton and Frosty. We went up to Big Bear, had some lunch, looked at the snow, and then headed back down. Then we ended the night with a yummy dinner at Olive Garden.

Lately....

So, what's been going on lately? Two weekends ago we took a trip to AZ. We went to the annual Hanukah party at Debbie and Eileen's house. Then it was time for Nicole's 18th Birthday party. I can't believe she is 18 already. I remember being at the hospital waiting for her to be born.

We went on a long 4 mile walk with my aunt, cousin, Brayton, and the dogs, Buster and Frosty. We stopped by a dog park and the dogs loved it. Well, Frosty loved it. Buster didn't quite know what was going on.

Nothing exciting during the week. Just the usual work and school routine. Then this weekend we just chilled out. On Sunday night was the Saints vs. Jets game. The Saints came out winning in overtime. It was an amazing game. And, now back to the grind!

A Productive Saturday

Yesterday, I started off the morning with a walk with Brayton and Frosty. Then later in the afternoon I took Frosty to the dog park and met up with my mom, Charles, Robert, and Gunny. The dogs loved the park. They ran and played with many large dogs. I have pictures of course. Then everyone came back to my house and spent the night scrapbooking, then i made a taco dinner. It was a very nice Saturday.

Goodbye 2009, Hello 2010

So, it's been awhile. I am not going to go back and update everything. I figure I will start off fresh with the new year and try and keep up a bit better. So, I started off the new year at a party at my mom's with Frosty, while Brayton was stuck at work. Then it was back to work after having 2 weeks off.

This year I will continue on with my masters and nurse practitioner program at APU. I will be spending time with family, both near and far. I hope to go to Chicago over my birthday and go to a nursing conference for school nurses. And, we will see what the rest of the year has to offer.
