So, today we all took a trip down to San Diego to hang out for our President's Day off. First, we started off at Sea World getting our free year pass. Then from there we headed over to Mission Beach and headed over to Belmont Park. This park is home to the roller coaster the Big Dipper which is an old wooden roller coaster. Since, I can't go on right now Rob, Charles and Brayton were going on it. But, poor Brayton's legs were to high for the bar to come down and he wasn't able to go. Then we walked around the boardwalk for a bit and headed to the Waverunner resteraunt for lunch. This place was so neat. You sit outside with the sand under your feet and a large surf type thing for you to watch. Great place Went down to the beach area and grabbed a yummy ice cream cone that Brayton and I shared. Afterwards, we headed to the Navy Exchange for some good shopping. It was such a fun day out.

Gifts

This past week was Valentine's Day. I got a beautiful dozen roses from my father-in-law on Valentine's Day. Then a few days later Brayton and I got a package in the mail from Aunt Debby and Uncle Terry. They had made us a beautiful quilt board with pictures from throughout the years along with a couple of gift cards for Outback Steakhouse. The picture board was beautiful, it was really fun to see the pictures of Brayton when he was little.

Super Bowl Sunday

So, this year Robert's team Green Bay Packers was in the game against Pittsburgh Steelers and Robert's team won. I went to my moms to watch the game while Brayton went to work. Mary, Steve, and Gina also came over to watch the game. We did a numbers pool for the game and we wound up winning the whole pot, which was pretty exciting. The party was cheese themed in honor of Green Bay.

Baby Williams First Ultrasounds

So, I am currently 10 weeks pregnant. I have had 2 ultrasounds done, one at 7 weeks and then one at 9 weeks 4 days. The first ultrasound the baby was about the size of a grain of rice with a strong heartbeat of 144. Baby was extremely tiny but you can definitely see where its laying against the side of my uterus in the ultrasound.

Then I finally had my real appointment with my doctor this past Thursday. She went over all of my prenatal blood work with us and everything looked great there. Then she did an ultrasound. This time the baby was almost an inch and a half long and was now floating in the middle of my uterus. Babys heart was still beating strong at 140. We even got to see the baby wiggle when she push up against the uterus. It was the cutest thing. The whole body moved.

Next appointment isn't until March 11. This is when we'll be able to hear the baby's heartbeat.

Week 9 4 days ultrasound!
Week 7 ultrasound.

New Year 2011

So, I haven't been posting anything in awhile. Things have been a bit hectic with work and school. I've also been trying to keep quiet about the baby until I had my doctors appointment. This year is sure to be filled with much excitement and adventure. Brayton and I look forward for the year to come.

Christmas Surprise

Brayton and I gave our families quite the surprise this Christmas. We had just found out that I was pregnant. So, we decided to tell our moms together on Christmas morning. I went and bought a little onesie to give my mom that said "What happens at Grandmas, stays at Grandmas". Then I bought a bib for Brayton's mom that said "I (heart) Grandma". I got one more bib for Robert that said "My uncle is hot and single".

I wrapped up 4 gifts all the same and I gave one to Brayton and his mom and Robert and my mom. I told them it was a mother son gift (Brayton knew of course what was going on). My mom was the first one to finish opening the box and when she finally realized what it was she started yelling, "Are you pregnant? Are you pregnant?" Needless to say everyone else joined in by asking the same question. So, we did a good surprise!!! :-)
