Halloween Night
This year we did Halloween at our house, in our neighborhood. We started with a home cooked meal of meatloaf, rolls, and mashed potatoes (I cooked). We sat outside in our driveway, ate dinner and gave candy out to all the Trick or Treaters. Then we took a little walk around our block to check out how the other homes were decorated. First, my mom and I decorated Halloween pumpkin cookies. They came very cute.
Halloween Party
My friends Faye and Billy had a Halloween Party at their house last night. They seriously went all out. There was food and decorations everywhere in their house. It was a lot of fun. I even won the sexiest costume award at the end of the night.
Pumpkin Patch Time
We made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch in Mentone. This time we went with Mary, Steve, Gina, and of course Abby (Frosty's sister). We had fun playing around in the patch. We actually didn't get a pumpkin this year. I couldn't find any that I really liked.

Decorating the Haunted Halloween Gingerbread House
So, the other night Brayton, Frosty, and I headed over to my mom's house to build a haunted gingerbread house. In the past, my mom and I had not been very successful in building gingerbread houses. So, this year Brayton came to help us out. And, the house actually stayed up and standing. We were actually able to do it.

Today!!!
First, we started the day by going to church. We met my mom, Charles, and Robert there. Afterwards, Brayton and I headed over to Redlands Community Hospital to see Philip and Marie's new baby girl. She is beautiful. She was born last night. She was 6# 3 oz and 19 inches long. Here are some pictures of the new Hopkins Family!
Then we headed over to Mary and Mario's house to do a late birthday lunch. We had very yummy Mexican food. Then Charles had to blow out his candle on his cake and this is what he looked like.

U of A Family Weekend 2010
This past weekend Brayton and I took a trip down to Tucson, AZ for Nicole's family weekend. We had a great time. The first day we went with Nicole on a tour of the school of nursing, which was pretty cool. Then we all got together for dinner and I got to see my friend Meredith, who I haven't seen in awhile. I had 3 raspberry lemondrop martinis and I was completely toasted. But, I did have a lot of fun.
Then on Saturday, Aunt Blanche, Uncle Howard, and Christine came down to Tucson. We walked around the campus for a bit and visited the bookstore. We then went to the tailgating area and had some lunch. Then it was football time. Arizona vs. Oregon State. Unfortunately, they lost. It was also Uncle Richie's birthday that day.
Then on Sunday, it was time to go home. But before I left I needed to stop at this bar called Bison Witches that has the best grilled cheese in Tucson. Meredith was able to meet up with us again for lunch, so it was great. Then Brayton and I were off on our 6 hour drive home.

Believe Breast Cancer Walk
Toady, Brayton, Frosty, Robert, my mom, Barb and her son did the 5K walk through Redlands in support of breast cancer research. It was an amazing morning. We all did it with our pink pride. We walked for Barb because she is a recent survivor of breast cancer. It was a beautiful walk around Redlands however, it was a bit humid. Will definitely have to do this again. Here are some pictures from the morning.
School has definitely started.
So, as we can see its been awhile since I last posted. School once again has begun. I am taking 2 classes this semester. One of which is online and positively awful. I now realize how much I really like being in the actual classroom. They don't seem to give all the busy work as the online ones do. I have also started my first set of clinicals for my NP. That's been exciting. More to come!
