Day 7 in Chicago

This was our last full day in Chicago. We all went to the Museum of Science and Industry. It was a lot of fun. There was a lot of hands on exhibits and a whole portion on the body which was fun to see.

Later that night Brayton and I went with Aunt Mary, Uncle Richie and Nicole to the Willis Tower to go up to the skydeck. We took an elevator ride up to the 103rd floor. We saw some amazing views of the city. Then we were able to walk out on a clear deck to have a full view of the city even under your feet. It was amazing. Brayton took one step out and got a bit nervous. Nicole didn't want to go out either but we got her out a little at least for some pictures.

That's a pig brain!
Brayton and I dissected cows eyes at the museum.

Day 6 in Chicago-My 29th Birthday!

July 1, 2010, my 29th birthday. We all went to Wrigley Field to watch the Cubs take on the Reds. Brayton had put my birthday up on the scoreboard at the field. It was really neat, I was completely shocked. We then went to a great local Italian resteraunt Voltare for dinner. It was a great birthday!

Day 5 in Chicago

This was June 30, opening day of the Twilight Saga: Eclipse. So, we all went and saw the movie at the IMAX theatre. The movie was great. Then we went to lunch at Harry Carray's again. Then Brayton and I went off on a double decker tour around downtown and then around Chinatown and Little Italy.

Day 4 Chicago

We were now joined by Aunt Mary, Uncle Richie and Nicole. We started off our day with a bus ride to Field's Museum where we spent the first half of our day. They have the dinosaur Sue which was in the movie Night at the Museum. We saw all kinds of mummies and dinosaurs.

Day 3 to Wisconsin

This day we took a road trip up to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Needless to say I was not impressed. Our first stop was at the Jelly Belly factory where took a train tour around the factory and then of course ended up in the gift shop. Where Brayton and I managed to fill a $20 bag of jelly beans.

We then headed over to Miller Field where the Brewers play and took a tour of the stadium. Rob, Brayton and I went down onto the field, into the dugout, the bullpen, and the behind the scene stands. It was really neat to be that close to the field.

Then we headed off to the Miller Brewery. Again we did a tour around the brewery and then had our samples of Miller beer. We then headed off to a cheese store and ate some cheese curds and had some grilled cheeses and hot dogs for lunch. Had to be the slowest service possible! :-)

We hoped out of the car to grab the picture
