Thanksgiving Week in Arizona

We headed out to Scottsdale with my family and Judy. We spent Thanksgiving at my Aunt Mary's house and had some very yummy food. Thanksgiving night my mom, Nicole and Aunt Mary went out at midnight to Old Navy and did some great shopping with phenomenal deals. Then we went back home. The next morning we hit a few more stores for some good Black Friday deals.

Later on Friday night we all got together at this great restaurant Monty's in Tempe for my nana's 80th birthday party. The grandkids and the 3 daughters all did some research on the year when nana was our age. So, I research 1959...it was pretty interesting. We then shared all that we had learned at the table. After that we all went back to nana's and hung out.

5K run for Childhood Cancer

The Sunday before Thanksgiving Brayton and Robert ran in a 5K run in Redlands sponsored by the Redlands Fire Dept. The run was named Lighting the Way to help raise money to find cures for childhood cancer. It was a cold and rainy morning. But, they still ran it and completed it. Frosty got to run also. He loved it! :-) Here are some pictures from the morning.

Sabrina and Bills Wedding 11/4/10

We went to a beautiful wedding at the Ponte Winery in Temecula for Sabrina and Bill. The wedding was amazing. Sabrina looked gorgeous. It was a true Italian wedding, the best kind. :-)

Lately...

Life's been a bit crazy lately. I started my clinicals for one of my nurse practitioner classes and I've been super busy. Today I went with my mom to holiday idea party with the women's group from my church. We had fun and got some great ideas. We were also able to make a couple of different crafts. Afterwards, we went shopping at Kohls, I got some Christmas gifts and some new shirts for the wedding tomorrow. Then we came back to my house and sat and watched Sex in the City 2. It was a fun day!

Halloween Night

This year we did Halloween at our house, in our neighborhood. We started with a home cooked meal of meatloaf, rolls, and mashed potatoes (I cooked). We sat outside in our driveway, ate dinner and gave candy out to all the Trick or Treaters. Then we took a little walk around our block to check out how the other homes were decorated. First, my mom and I decorated Halloween pumpkin cookies. They came very cute.

Halloween Party

My friends Faye and Billy had a Halloween Party at their house last night. They seriously went all out. There was food and decorations everywhere in their house. It was a lot of fun. I even won the sexiest costume award at the end of the night.

Here was some of the food set up on a coffin with a head made from ham.

Pumpkin Patch Time

We made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch in Mentone. This time we went with Mary, Steve, Gina, and of course Abby (Frosty's sister). We had fun playing around in the patch. We actually didn't get a pumpkin this year. I couldn't find any that I really liked.
