Believe Breast Cancer Walk
Toady, Brayton, Frosty, Robert, my mom, Barb and her son did the 5K walk through Redlands in support of breast cancer research. It was an amazing morning. We all did it with our pink pride. We walked for Barb because she is a recent survivor of breast cancer. It was a beautiful walk around Redlands however, it was a bit humid. Will definitely have to do this again. Here are some pictures from the morning.
School has definitely started.
So, as we can see its been awhile since I last posted. School once again has begun. I am taking 2 classes this semester. One of which is online and positively awful. I now realize how much I really like being in the actual classroom. They don't seem to give all the busy work as the online ones do. I have also started my first set of clinicals for my NP. That's been exciting. More to come!

Labor Day Weekend
For the nice long weekend we took a road trip down to San Diego for the day. We started off at the Air and Space Museum to see the alien exhibit. It was really neat to see. Then we headed over to Kansas City BBQ for some lunch. This is the resteraunt where some scenes from Top Gun was filmed. Then we headed over to the base for some shopping. It was a fun day.

Then on Monday we went over to my mom's for a BBQ and spent the day with Brayton's mom and Jack. My mom and I taught Judy how to play bunco so she would be ready to join our group next month.

Yesterday
So, yesterday at work it was insanely busy. I literally ran back and forth between 2 of my schools like a million times. I had to deal with the cops, CPS, and stupid parents. It got aggravating.
So, last night Brayton and I went down to Palm Springs for the night. We started off by driving to Tiffany's so I could get my charm put on my bracelet. Of course, we were 55 minutes late and they were closed. Although, I never heard of Tiffany's closing at 6 on a Friday night. But, I guess in Palm Desert its a different story. Then we went to LG's Prime Steakhouse for dinner. It was very yummy. I had a great filet mignon. We then just walked up and down the streets of downtown Palm Springs. We found a cute pet store, so of course I had to stop and see what they had for my Frosty boy! They had the toy that he loves at my mother's so much. So, we got that for him. I also got a tile with a white boxer on it, super cute. I just need to color one of his eyes black to match Frosters.

Meet Avatar
So, yesterday while at my moms this cute Chihuahua came to her door alone with no tag or collar. So, Charles went to a few homes and found his owner. Then this morning I get a phone call from my mother saying that he had made his way back to her house again. So, I immediately woke up Brayton to go see the dog. Them my mom said he was covered in fleas. So, obviously whoever had him, did not care for him. So, off Avatar went to Coventry for a flea bath.
Robert came up with the name Avatar because of the white patch on his head. We call him Avi for short.
Avatar then came to our house to visit with Frosty and see how they got along. Avatar is only 5 pounds 4 ounces and our Frosters is 48 pounds. They are getting along pretty well. But, Frosty won't let the poor thing rest. So, we're giving him a try at the house tonight to see how he does. But, he's mighty cute and small.

Frosty's Birthday Party and Pasadena
This weekend the Curet's came out for a visit. We went to Pasadena Old Town for an afternoon after my final. We walked around the shops and had lunch at a hamburger place named Jakes. It was very yummy. I found this dog store there that had personalized birthday bones. And, since it was a day after Frosty's birthday I decided to get him one. He was able to share it with Gunny and Buster. So, in these pictures you'll see the birthday bone, as well as Frosty's first pool swim. I had Brayton put him in my moms pool to see how he would do. He is not a big fan of the water. But, he looked mighty cute!!!
